1. Data controller

2. Data we process

The site does not collect payment data and has no forms for visitors: bookings are completed on Booking.

• Site visits: anonymous daily totals only, with no cookies, IP address or personal data.
• Guests: name, email, phone, country, stay dates, accommodation, number of guests, amounts, booking number and any notes.
• Minimal technical data to secure the staff area, such as login attempts.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We do not carry out profiling and no decisions are made by automated processing.

• Managing bookings and stays: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Anonymous visit statistics and site security: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• Tax and legal obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

4. Booking

When you click to see prices, the site opens Booking.com passing only dates and number of guests. Booking processes your data as an independent controller under its own policy. Booking details then reach the B&B to manage your stay.

5. Retention

• Guest data: 24 months from the last stay or contact.
• Tax documents: for the period required by law.
• Technical security data: 12 months.
• Site visits: only anonymous totals are kept.

6. Recipients and transfers

Data is processed by authorised B&B staff and by technical service providers acting as processors (Art. 28 GDPR), only for the stated purposes:

• website hosting and data storage services;
• technical support and site maintenance.

Some providers may be based outside the European Union: such transfers rely on GDPR safeguards (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses). The up-to-date list of processors is available on request.

7. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent, using the contact details in section 1. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

8. Security

Encrypted connection, password-only access to the staff area and limits on repeated login attempts.
